Fairfield Store Clerk Held At Gunpoint By Robbers: Police
A store employee was held at gunpoint, but no one was injured during the robbery, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield liquor store was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night, according to police.
The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. at Brooklawn Discount Liquor, 752 Brooklawn Ave., Fairfield police said in a news release.
An employee told law enforcement that two men had entered the store and demanded money, according to police. One of the men held a firearm to the clerk’s head, the news release said. The pair stole cash from the register, a bracelet from the employee and a wallet from a customer, according to the news release.

Police used a K-9 to track the suspects to Querida Street, where law enforcement believe the two men may have entered a vehicle, the news release said.
No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

The employee described the pair as black men in their 20s who were wearing all black clothing, including black face masks, according to police, who released surveillance images of the suspects.
Police were investigating Thursday night whether the Fairfield robbery was connected to two similar robberies that happened around the same time in Bridgeport, according to Lt. Antonio Granata.
