FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield high school students rallied to Stop Asian Hate over the weekend with an event on Zoom.
About 80 people attended the online rally Saturday, which included speakers such as state Sen. Tony Hwang and U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, as well as students, parents and teachers from Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlowe high schools.
The rally was organized by Warde senior Rosalie Hsu, along with fellow students, according to Rose Healy, who advises Warde’s Pan-Asian Association and teaches Mandarin Chinese.

In addition to coordinating Saturday’s event, Hsu spoke at a Stop Asian Hate rally earlier in the month that was organized by Fairfield Standing United.
