Fairfield Veterans Independence Day Event Canceled Due To Weather
The Daughters of the American Revolution will still hold a reading of the Declaration of Independence — rain or shine.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Due to rain in the forecast, the Fairfield United Veterans Organization has canceled its Annual Independence Day Celebration, which was scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Old Town Hall. The organization is not rescheduling the event. The Daughters of the American Revolution will still hold a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Old Academy — rain or shine.
