Fairfield Weather: Taste of Winter and Spring This Weekend
We'll let you know what to expect in the weekend forecast and when the next storm is forecast for next week.

By Brian McCready
We’ll receive one shot of winter over the next week and it just happens to be tonight and tomorrow, and then it looks like spring weather is here for a while.
You’ll need the winter coast tonight if you’re heading out as temps plummet all the way back into the teens tonight, and then it’s still relatively cold during the day on Saturday. After Saturday we’re back into the 50s on Sunday.
If you have a personal day to take on Monday, it’s a great day to do so as temps will rise into the mid 50s with nothing but sunshine forecast.
Of course, there could be multiple days of precipitation next week, too, on Wednesday and Thursday, but no chance of snow right now as it will be in the 50s leading to just rain.
Here is the detailed forecast via the National Weather Service:
- Friday: Sunny with temps in the mid to upper 30s during the day. Winds will make it feel much colder. Gusts could exceed 20 mph and the wind chill factor will be near 20-30 degrees.
- Friday night: Very cold with temps near 15 degrees for most of the state.
- Saturday: Temps into the upper 30s and sunshine. It will feel cold because of the wind. It will feel like between 15-25 degrees.
- Saturday night: Temps don’t drop much, as the low will be in the upper 20s to low 30s.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny and temps in the low 50s.
- Monday: Sunny and 55 degrees.
- Tuesday: More sunshine, and temps near 50 degrees.
- Wednesday and Thursday: rain chance both days.
