Fairfield's Castle On Post To Host Premium Poinsettia Plant Sale
An ovarian cancer benefit is being organized by a local survivor.

Ovarian Cancer Survivor Noreen Forde is organizing a Holiday Poinsettias Plant Sale in Fairfield as a way of giving back to The Clearity Foundation, an organization that helped her through some difficult days. She wants to help other women with ovarian cancer have access to these exceptional programs.
"Now that I have survived ovarian cancer, I want to raise funds to help other women who are diagnosed with this terrible disease," stated Noreen Forde. "Poinsettias have been a holiday tradition for centuries so it is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and help others," Noreen added.
Noreen teamed up with Vaiuso Farms of Branford to get the best plants possible. Patrick Clyne, owner of The Castle on Post Restaurant & Pub, is allowing his tent in his parking lot to be used for the pick-up of flowers.
