Firefighters Respond To Lightning Strike In Fairfield
No one was injured, but residential services were affected, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Firefighters responded to a lightning strike Thursday in Fairfield.
The strike occurred on Brighton View Road, the department said in a Facebook post early Thursday evening.
"Luckily no one was injured and only minor residential house services were affected to area residents," the post said.

The news came as strong storms blew through the area Thursday and Tropical Storm Elsa approached. Elsa is expected to reach the Fairfield County area overnight.
