FAIRFIELD, CT — A former security guard faces charges after spitting in a person’s face and then driving under the influence, according to police.

James Laramee, 27, of Stamford, was arrested last week and charged with driving under the influence and second-degree breach of peace, police said.

An employee of a company that handles security at the Lantern Point private beach community called law enforcement about 7:30 p.m. April 25 to report Laramee, who previously worked for the company, was refusing to leave the area, according to police.
