Free Christmas Trees Available For Vets, Military In Fairfield
Veterans and military personnel in need of a Christmas tree can get one this weekend for free in Fairfield.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Free Christmas trees will be available for veterans and active duty military personnel this weekend, according to The Freedom Isn't Free Ride Foundation. The trees, which will be distributed by the foundation, can be picked up 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot at St. Pius X Parish, 834 Brookside Drive. Valid military or veteran's identification is required.
