Fugitive Arrested on Fairfield University Campus
Man had an extraditable warrant for his arrest for aggravated stalking in Florida.

A Meriden man was taken into custody at Fairfield University Tuesday after public safety officers observed him acting suspiciously on campus.Â
According to police, Henry Anthony Diaz, 27, of Meriden, was charged with being a fugitive from justice after public safety officers alerted Fairfield police of his suspicious behavior Tuesday at 1:36 p.m.Â
Police responded and observed Diaz walking on North Benson Road and upon speaking with him discovered that Orange County, Florida held an active extraditable warrant for his arrest for the charge of aggravated stalking, according to police.Â

Diaz is being held on $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 17.Â
