Garage Destroyed, 2 Homes Damaged In Fairfield Fire
The Fairfield Fire Department said its quick response saved the two homes.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A garage fire Saturday in Fairfield damaged two nearby homes, according to the fire department.
The blaze happened about 11:30 a.m. on Eastlawn Street and resulted in a completely blackened garage, one residence with moderate fire damage and another with melted siding, according to a Facebook post from the Fairfield Fire Department. The department said its quick response saved the two homes.
Emergency crews extinguished the fully involved fire, which was determined to be an accident. No one was injured and occupants of the affected structures evacuated before firefighters arrived.
