Germans Help Irish with St. Patrick's Day Parade

German Club Hosts Karaoke Benefit for Irish Community

The Germania-Schwaben Club in Bridgeport is hosting the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Celebration Committee for a special benefit. St. Patrick's Grand Marshals Karaoke will be held at The German Club, 416 Horace Street, Bridgeport. This event is a fundraiser in honor of 2019 Grand Marshal Peter Carroll of Stratford. Carroll will be joined by other past Grand Marshals including Dave and Ann Marie Curtin, Cathy Brannelly Austin and Maura Brannelly O'Malley.

The Karaoke DJ is Leigh Henry and he will have special Irish songs in addition to his vast collection. Admission to the fundraiser is only $5 per person and it is open to the public. There will be pub grub dinner menu and drink specials. Delicious Menu featuring dinner specials by Chef Janice. Great pub grub like nachos, roast beef sandwiches, wings and chicken tenders. Drink specials by Bartender John like $2 Draft Pints of Beer.

A special raffle will be held to raise additional funds for the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Bridgeport. Prizes include gift certificates to local restaurants and bottles of cheer. The Host Committee helping plan this event includes Fred Garrity Jr., Liz Gilbert Defeo, Patty Brady, Marybeth Lesko Clifford and Kathy Murer.
