Only one player spot and one foursome are needed to reach their goal, according to Curtin, a retired Verizon executive. He and his wife, a retired special education teacher in the Fairfield Public Schools, have been working for months to ensure the tournament’s success. They have planned the day with Parade Chairperson Connie Beagan and the rest of the committee.
