Fairfield's Greenfield Hill Congregational Church recently recognized Boy Scout Troop 90 on Scout Sunday, January 27.
The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting. However, each chartered organization can adopt a specific Sunday to celebrate this special day.
Boy Scout Troop 90, a leadership troop in The Connecticut Yankee Council, Pomperaug District, is sponsored by Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield, Connecticut. Troop 90 greeted the congregation and thanked them for their support.

Troop 90 was founded in 1938 and has produced over 100 Eagle Scouts, with an average of four new Eagle Scouts each year. The Troop plans to advance eight Eagle Scouts in 2019.
