Greenfield Hill Church Pastor Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Pastor David Johnson Rowe will celebrate two decades of ministry at the church on June 4.

From ICR: Greenfield Hill Congregational Church (GHCC) proudly announces that it will celebrate the 20-year Anniversary of its Pastor, David Johnson Rowe, on June 4th, recognizing his two decades of ministry at the church and in this community. The celebration will take place at the Church’s 9:00 a.m. service.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, David grew up in New York City. He is a graduate of the Northfield-Mount Hermon School and Colgate University. He was ordained at the First Baptist Church of Haverhill, Massachusetts, after graduating from Andover-Newton Theological School. He later received his Doctorate in Ministry from Palmer Theological Seminary.
In his pastoral career, Rowe served churches in New York and Massachusetts before coming to Fairfield in 1997. Throughout his ministry, he has been committed to world mission, for many years serving as President of Habitat for Humanity, International and later as President of the Overseas Ministries Study Center. In 1983, Rowe founded Friends of Christ in India (FOCI), a charity dedicated to serving the poor in Telangana, India.

He is the author of several books, most recently “Church: One Pilgrim’s Fellowship.” He serves as co-pastors of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church along with his wife, Alida Ward.
