Hawks Attack Two in Fairfield: Report
A resident was recently attacked by a hawk outside of his home and a mail carrier also reported an attack.

FAIRFIELD, CT – A Fairfield man was attacked by a hawk in front of his Sturges Road home on Friday afternoon and a mail carrier reported being attacked by a hawk on Sycamore Lane a short time later, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the Sturges Road resident suffered a cut on his scalp as a result of the attack.
While searching the area around the Sturges Road home, animal control officers located a pair of hawks attempting to build a nest, according to the Post. An officer was approached by one of the hawks but wasn’t struck.
