FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are seeking the public's help to find the driver of an SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run outside a Fairfield grocery store.

About noon Wednesday, an SUV believed to be a 1999-2002 Green Toyota 4Runner struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Stop & Shop on Villa Avenue, according to a Facebook post from the Fairfield Police Department. The 4Runner would likely have damage on its right side, and the damage might include red paint that was transferred, police said.

Anyone with information about the identity or location of the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact Officer Mark Letsch at 203-254-4860 or mletsch@fairfieldct.org.
