FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield woman called police over the weekend after finding a local college student asleep in the vestibule of her home, according to law enforcement.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the beach area, police said. The responding officer awoke the sleeping student, who attends Fairfield University and is a neighbor of the woman, according to police.
The student had entered the woman’s mudroom area, which separates the exterior of the home from the interior, and was unlocked, police said.
