“There are so many ‘adventurer,’ ‘explorer,’ ‘naturalist’ TV shows these days, but they’re all trying to follow the model that was set by Jeff Corwin,” said Jennifer Herring, president of The Maritime Aquarium in a release. “His youthfulness and passion and knowledge have inspired a new generation of stewards of the environment. We’re excited and honored to be welcoming him to The Maritime Aquarium.”
Kids at The Maritime Aquarium were first introduced to a 26-year-old Jeff Corwin back in 1994, through his participation in Robert Ballard’s JASON Project broadcasts of a live scientific mission to the rain forests of Belize.
