Join in on the Family Friendly Marshland Meander
Bring binoculars, bug repellent, and sunscreen for the June 3 event.

From the Fairfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee: Families planning on exploring the Frank Rice Trail System bordering Fairfield's Pine Creek Marsh this Saturday, June 3 are reminded to bring binoculars, bug repellent and sunscreen, according to the Fairfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee.

There are still places open for families who want to join the walk and learn about the birds and beasts living in Pine Creek marsh. Milan Bull, Senior Director of Science and Conservation with Connecticut Audubon Society, will lead an easy, kid focused nature exploration stroll. Meet up is at 9 AM Saturday, June 3 in the Fairfield Senior Center parking lot near the trail alongside the marsh.

Sponsored by the Fairfield Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee, the hike is open to the first 20 families who reply to bikepedcommittee@fairfieldct.org The rain date is set for June 10, same time and same place.
