Recognize This Man? Call Fairfield Police
The suspect pictured in the surveillance footage reportedly broke into a woman's car in Fairfield last month and stole purchases she had made.
Fairfield detectives are looking for help identifying a man who allegedly stole items from a woman's car in Fairfield in June.
The victim reported on June 22 that her car was parked in the TJ Maxx parking lot between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Someone broke into her car while the complainant was in TJ Maxx and took bags of merchandise she had purchased elsewhere.
A short time later, the male pictured in the attached photos reportedly attempt to return the items for cash at a store in the 3900 block of Main Street in Bridgeport. He claimed to be the woman's husband and said she wanted the items to be returned, according to police.

The suspect was described as a white male with a "weathered" complexion, age 35 to 45, with short dark hair. He was wearing denim shorts, black shoes or boots, and a black T-shirt with a "distinctive, decorative logo that spelled 'GOD" on the front," according to the report.
