Lake Mohegan Remains Closed for Swimming
Officials closed the lake for swimming beginning on Wednesday.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Lake Mohegan in Fairfield remains closed for swimming due to rainfall exceeding the closure criteria, officials say.
The lake was closed for swimming on Wednesday but officials expect it to reopen on Friday.
“The lake will reopen on Friday August 12, 2016 barring any further significant rainfall,” officials wrote in an update. “All Coastal swimming areas are open.”
