Letter To The Editor: Former State Senator Endorses Romano-Csonka
"She is a straight shooter and a fighter for what is right for her community," writes former state Sen. Toni Boucher.
To the editor,
In these troubling and uncertain times, Fairfield needs someone in Hartford with experience, common sense, and first-hand knowledge on how Hartford mandates affect the town’s families, schools, and properties. Connecticut is in dire financial straits. Its reserves will quickly disappear, leaving a deeper budget hole and a weaker economy.
Joanne Romano-Csonka, candidate for state representative of the 133rd, will be a fierce advocate and protector for Fairfield. She will tackle the enormous fiscal challenges that Connecticut faces on day one. I know this because I have known Joanne for over 20 years, during which time she served on numerous municipal boards and commissions.

You can be certain that Joanne will not bow to party ideology or platform but focus exclusively on Fairfield’s issues. This is important since proposed legislation in Hartford would force your schools and town government to regionalize and take away personal property rights. And there are few people that know how to stop reckless 8-30g high density developments in small neighborhoods and bus stop hubs than Joanne Romano-Csonka.
She is a straight shooter and a fighter for what is right for her community. She will fight for you and be a wise choice on Nov. 3.
