Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic To Be Held In Fairfield

The clinic for cats and dogs will take place at the Fairfield Animal Shelter.

FAIRFIELD, CT — (From the Fairfield Animal Control): A low-cost dog/cat rabies vaccination clinic will be held at the Fairfield Animal Shelter, located at 211 One Rod Highway (Richard White Way), from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Sunday, May 20. The cost is $20 cash per pet. All dogs must be on leashes and all cats in secure cat carriers. If a pet owner shows proof of any previous rabies vaccination (current or expired) the vaccination will be good for three years. If no previous rabies vaccination is presented the rabies vaccination will be good for one year. Any pet owner that displays a state assistance card can receive one free pet rabies vaccination.
