FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man faces multiple charges after he broke into a Fairfield business in order to confront a person he knew who was affiliated with the business, according to police.
Mackenzie Dave Bruno, 33, of the 200 block of Gregory Street, was arrested in June and charged with second-degree burglary and violating a protective order, police said.
Bruno broke a pane of glass and entered a Tunxis Hill area business with the intent of confronting someone he knew, according to police, who said that when the person arrived at work the morning of Feb. 17, they found Bruno inside and later notified law enforcement.

Following an investigation, police obtained a warrant for Bruno’s arrest, taking him into custody June 5 and holding him on a $25,000 bond, according to law enforcement. Bruno was also charged with second-degree failure to appear and held on a $30,000 bond for that offense, which was associated with an Oct. 14 incident that resulted in third-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges against Bruno, police said.
Bruno remains in custody and has yet to enter a plea, according to court records, which said his next court date is set for July 19.
