Man Charged After Attack At Fairfield Gas Station: Police
The incident occurred at a gas station on the Post Road, according to Fairfield police, who said the man's bond was set at $25,000.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A man is in custody after he attacked a person at a Fairfield gas station, police said.
Tykuan Renae Kelly, 26, of Bridgeport, is charged with second-degree restraint, second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree larceny and driving with a suspended license, according to police.
The charges against Kelly originated from an incident May 5, when police responded to Citgo, 1096 Post Road, after Kelly went to the gas station, grabbed a person who he knew, yelled at the person, and pushed them against a car so forcefully that the vehicle’s open gas door broke off, police said. Kelly also stole the person’s AirPods before leaving the scene, according to police.

Kelly was taken into custody on a warrant in connection with the Fairfield incident after he was involved in a crash May 16 in Waterbury, police said.
Kelly’s bond was set at $25,000, according to court records, which said he has yet to enter a plea and his next court date is scheduled for Aug. 4.
