Detectives used surveillance and social media to identify Michael Fernandez, 34, as the driver of a vehicle identical to the one used in the burglary, according to police. The car was found in Milford less than 24 hours after the incident and contained the stolen items, a burglary tool and clothing worn by one of the suspects, police said.

Fernandez was arrested Jan. 12 and charged, police said, adding that in a post-arrest interview with Fernandez, police developed Rivera as a suspect. DNA in gloves connected with the burglary matched to Rivera, who remains in custody on a $5,000 bond, according to court records.
