Man Charged With Credit Card Theft in Fairfield
39-year-old man allegedly used stolen cards at several area businesses.

Robert Ford, 39, of Bridgeport, was charged with credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card on Oct. 18 at approximately 10:15 a.m.Â
According to police, Ford allegedly stole credit cards from a wallet inside an unlocked Toyota Tacoma parked in Fairfield on Aug. 30 and used them at area car washes, McDonald's and Cumberland Farms. Video surveillance captured the suspect and a warrant was filed for his arrest.
Ford was held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 18.Â
