Man Threatened Person's Life Outside Fairfield Business: Police

The man pointed what appeared to be a gun at the victim and threatened to kill the person, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man faces several charges after threatening a person’s life in a pharmacy parking lot, according to police.

Officers were called about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13 about a man using a gun to threaten someone in the parking lot of a CVS in the 300 block of Grasmere Avenue, police said.

An investigation led officers to Scott Marsillo, who, “approached the complainant in a vehicle, pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the complainant and threatened to kill them,” according to information provided by Lt. Antonio Granata.

Marsillo, 27, was found at his home and had an airsoft pistol that resembled the weapon described by the victim, police said.

Marsillo was arrested and charged with first-degree threatening, possession of a weapon in a vehicle and breach of peace, according to police. He is free after posting 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and will next appear in court Dec. 11, according to court records.
