Mike Tetreau Announces Re-election Campaign with Nancy Lefkowitz
RTM Member Nancy Lefkowitz to Run for Selectman with First Selectman Michael Tetreau
Town of Fairfield First Selectman Michael C. Tetreau announced his intentions to seek re-election to the Board of Selectman while District One RTM Member Nancy Lefkowitz announced her plans to seek the position of Selectman at a Fairfield Democratic Town Committee (DTC) meeting held on May 8, 2019 at Osborne Hill School. At a meeting attended by over 100 Democratic party members, both Tetreau and Lefkowitz were introduced by DTC Chair Steve Sheinberg. State Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey was in Hartford on legislative matters and could not attend the meeting but send a message in support of Tetreau and Lefkowitz.
First Selectman Tetreau has been in office for nearly eight years and talked about his experience in managing the town effectively while keeping property taxes as low as possible. RTM Member Lefkowitz spoke of her desire to make government more helpful to people and her constituent work on the RTM. Both plan to carry the Democratic party's endorsement in the November 5, 2019 election.
