Mother-Daughter Nabbed for Shoplifting in Fairfield

Delmy Vasquez-Villatoro, 24, of Bridgeport, and Lucia Villatoro, 62, of Bridgeport, were charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny on Jan. 4 at approximately 9:03 p.m.

According to police, Loss Prevention at Kohl’s, 290 Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield, observed Vasquez-Villatoro conceal $138 worth of jewelry in her pockets and Villatoro not pay for $80 worth of items in her shopping cart. DCF was referred for a two-year-old child with Vasquez-Villatoro, according to police.
