JOB: Transportation team lead of Uniliever

WHAT MAKES THEM A GOOD NEIGHBOR? Jake has spearheaded many animal food collections at Uniliever's Shelton office, which were donated to many animal shelters in Fairfield and neighboring towns in Connecticut. Jake was named Pet Ambassador of Fairfield Operation Hope last fall, where he donates thousands of pet food for people in need as SNAP does not cover pet food and in stressful times pets provide a sense of security. Jake wants to make sure these animals can stay with their owner and out of the shelters. This past December, Jake spearheaded a huge pet food collection in Bridgeport for over 220 families in need and each family was given pet food and a handmade environmentally friendly animal toy he made out of T-shirts and jeans, along with an emergency card for their wallet he designed in the event of an emergency, which will have their address, pet name, vet name/number, and a neighbor contact, along with the pet food and amount of food they eat. As more people travel and if a medical emergency should occur, this would provide a sense of security knowing their pet is being cared for.
