Neighbor To Know: Woman Helps Others Get Vaccine Appointments

FAIRFIELD, CT — There's no shortage of interesting people in Fairfield. This week, get to know Sharon Pistilli, who was nominated by Jill Vergara, her colleague on Fairfield's Representative Town Meeting.

WHY SHOULD EVERYONE KNOW THIS NEIGHBOR? Sharon’s commitment to serve the public good is profound. I’ve honestly never met anyone like her. She works full days and then stays up for hours at night helping people to get coronavirus vaccine appointments and has volunteered for the town for various boards for years. She helped my family, and so many others, and I am just so grateful. My husband simply would not have been able to get an appointment for the vaccine if Sharon had not helped. Sharon is the epitome of selflessness. I don’t know how she has the energy to do what she does! But I am just so grateful for it.
