New Restaurant Opens In Fairfield
The restaurant will celebrate its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A new Mediterranean restaurant will celebrate its official opening in Fairfield with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. The former Café Madeline is now Aurora’s and the new owners will host the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 1603 Post Road in Fairfield.
Fairfield residents Lauren and Byron Orellana, owners and managers, say they are excited to announce the restaurant’s official opening.
“Since the purchase of our restaurant, we have been fine tuning our menu items with our fantastic chef and we’re looking forward to sharing our delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes with you,” they said in an email announcing the official opening. “We believe you’ll love the food, our welcoming environment and friendly staff.”

The restaurant has happy hour from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with special wine offerings and small plates.
“We offer a terrific regular lunch and dinner menu along with weekly specials and specialty soups, salads, desserts and house made gelato,” according to the owners.
