New Taco-Bar Eatery Coming To Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new taco-bar eatery is coming to downtown Fairfield. While a grand-opening date hasn’t been announced, Malibu Taco will be located at 1177 Post Road. According to its website, Malibu Taco brings “exciting yet balanced coastal California street food to a relaxed life-style taco bar in the heart of downtown Fairfield.”

Malibu Taco, which will be open seven days a week, will feature a dining/bar room and an outdoor patio raised above the Post Road. The menu will feature “our unique meat, vegetable & seafood tacos, our stone oven fired open faced quesadillas or some simple street classics like grilled corn and guacamole - all served family style so everyone can grab a bite,” according to the website.

There will also be “delicious craft cocktails (can you say margaritas?!) made from fresh squeezed juices, an ice cold crispy boy or a glass of one of our hand selected California wines from early lunch (the best lunch spot in Fairfield) until late at night,” the website states.
