Obituary: Alfons Uszkiewicz Jr., 59, Of Fairfield

Alfons Uszkiewicz Jr., 59, of Fairfield, died June 29, 2021, following a brief illness. He was the loving son of Ana “Anita” Uszkiewicz and the late Alfons Uszkiewicz Sr.

Alfons was a laid-back person who enjoyed relaxing and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh and smile.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Anita Joy and Donna Marie; his brother, Adam Uszkiewicz, and his wife, Gina; and grandchildren Travis, Kayla, Quinn, Kennedy and Jasper; his aunt, Gienia Mandryk, and many cousins. He will also be missed by his longtime caregivers, Dan and Jessica.

Friends may greet his family 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
