Obituary: Anthony Michael McDonald, 71

Anthony Michael McDonald, of Wingina, Virginia, formerly from Fairfield, passed away on April 13, 2021; he was surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born Oct. 20, 1949, and was the son of the late Thomas John McDonald Sr. and Marion Annette McDonald, both of Fairfield. Tony was a graduate of Fairfield University and Roger Ludlowe High School. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie McDonald, as well as his three beloved children and their families — Loria and John Hartman of Lisle, Illinois; Anthony and Kelley of Orlando, Florida; and Ryan and Nora of St. Marys, Georgia. Additionally, he is survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Tony’s passions were his animals, farm life and music, and he will be missed greatly by his beloved pets.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. Contributions may be made to Almost Home Pet Adoption SPCA in Lovingston, Virginia, at https://almosthomeanimals.org/donate/ in memory of Tony.
