Obituary: Jonathan Edward Barber, 34, Of Fairfield

Jonathan Edward Barber, age 34, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021. Born in New York City, the son of Joyce Heffernan Barber and the late David George Barber, he had been a Fairfield resident for most of his life. A graduate of Fairfield Warde High School, he received his bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Jonathan worked as a call center agent for After Inc. in Norwalk. He was a pro wrestling enthusiast, and cared for the safety and nurturing of animals. In addition to his loving mother, Joyce, he will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may greet the family 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m. A private interment will take place in upstate New York.
