Operation Hope Of Fairfield Hosts Food Drive July 30

The event will be held at Sherman Town Green in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Operation Hope of Fairfield is hosting a Food Drive from 10 a.m. to noon on July 30 at Sherman Town Green in Fairfield, according to organizers.

From the group's announcement:

Want to take a bite out of the summer slide? ?Summer slide? is the time when school is out and learning, in particular for low income kids, lags. It?s also a time when parents who rely on daily school breakfast and lunch during the school year find it even harder to put food on the table to feed their families.
