Operation Hope Seeks Tag Sale Hosts For August Fundraiser
After a year's hiatus due to the pandemic, the Operation Hope Tag Sale is returning.

After a year's hiatus due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to bring back our Tag Sale this summer! While the Tag Sale will look a bit different this year, you can rest assured proceeds will continue to help feed, house and counsel our neighbors in need. And, you are guaranteed to recycle your own treasures or find some new treasures!
Our Tag Sale will take place Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2021, rain or shine. Rather than locating the Tag Sale at First Church as we have in years past, we are asking friends to host tag sales in their own yards and garages around the Town of Fairfield that weekend. See info below on how to be a Tag Sale Host! This is your chance to purge so others and our neighbors in need can benefit from your treasures!
Shoppers from all over will come to Operation Hope at 636 Old Post Road on the days of the Tag Sale, 9am-5pm, to receive the location list. Our beloved "Finer Things" tables will be located in the parking lot for additional shopping. The first 100 people will be treated to an Operation Hope reusable shopping bag. Operation Hope volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.
WE SEEK TAG SALE HOSTS!
- Hosts must be Fairfield residents. If you do not live in Fairfield, but have things to sell, check with a friend or family member who might be able to host a sale on your behalf!
- How much does it cost? The cost to participate as a host is $25. We will supply you with a lawn sign that will designate your sale as an official Operation Hope Tag Sale stop! Your location (no names) will be on a list, which will be available at all tag sale host locations on the day of the Tag Sale. We also take care of the marketing – broadcasting your tag sale on our website, via email blasts, press releases, social media, and more! You will also receive a toolkit with some helpful Tag Sale materials.
- How do I sign up? Complete THIS FORM by July 22. You will receive a confirmation email with further details and how to pay the $25 fee, plus a link to the liability waiver. All registrations are final and fees are non-refundable.
- Do I have to give back 100% of my tag sale's proceeds? No! It’s up to you how much you decide to give back to Operation Hope. We’d appreciate any amount donated back to us.
- Do I have to keep my Tag Sale open Saturday and Sunday? No! It’s up to you which day you'd like to be open. And you can be open both days, if you'd like! You will share this info with us on the application form here.
- Does my Tag Sale have to run between 9am and 5pm? No! It’s up to you which hours you'd like to set your sale. You will share this info with us on the application form here.
