Several of the children involved have been identified, Fairfield police said, but the case remains under investigation.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A group of juveniles recently vandalized the bathrooms at Penfield Pavilion, according to Fairfield police.
The Department of Public Works notified law enforcement Wednesday about the damage, police said. A stall partition and thermostat in the men’s room were broken, while a mirror was shattered and tile was damaged in the women’s room, according to police, who said garbage was also scattered throughout both facilities.
The bathrooms were closed for repairs, the public works department said in a post on Instagram, adding surveillance would be upgraded to prevent future vandalism.
