FAIRFIELD, CT — A fight at a Fairfield restaurant resulted in a visit from police Saturday night, according to law enforcement.

Officers responded 9 p.m. to Puerto Vallarta, 2000 Black Rock Turnpike, after receiving a report that a fight broke out between several patrons and a manager, police said.

Five men were seen interacting with women at the bar in a manner that led employees to intervene, according to police. The conflict escalated and the manager asked the men to leave, but told police that he was assaulted with a beer bottle by one of the exiting patrons, law enforcement said.
