Police: Employee Stole From Fairfield Business

Erika Estrada, 31, of Bridgeport, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 9 at approximately 4:55 p.m.

According to police, Estrada was an employee at Super Stop & Shop, 760 Villa Ave., Fairfield, when she allegedly too $110 from the cash register and put it in her pocket. Estrada confessed to taking the money after video surveillance showed the incident, according to police.

Estrada was released on a written promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov 20.
