
Daniel Boyle, 23, of Manchester, NH, was charged with interfering with an officer and second-degree falsely reporting an incident on Nov. 17 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
According to police, Boyle reported that he was robbed of $40 cash, gave officers a detailed description of the event and suspect and used police resources for over one hour, including a K-9 unit, before admitting that his story was untrue and he was never robbed.
Boyle reportedly made the false claim to get the attention of his girlfriend, according to police.Â

Boyle was released on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.Â
