Post Road Closed After Crash With Injuries: Fairfield Police

Eastbound lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted, with westbound traffic slowed to a single lane.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Post Road was closed for several hours Monday after a crash with injuries, according to police.

The incident occurred at Jelliff Lane, between Old Post Road and Rennell Drive, Fairfield police said in a Facebook post about 9 a.m. Eastbound lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted, with westbound traffic slowed to a single lane.

As of about noon, officers were still at the scene. The road reopened around 1 p.m., according to police.
