Restaurant Week Lineup Announced In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — The full lineup of restaurants participating in this year's Restaurant Week in Fairfield has been unveiled. First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced Monday that 37 restaurants will participate in this year’s 7th Annual Fairfield Restaurant Week, which is set to return on Monday, Oct. 8 and run through Sunday, Oct. 14.

Each of the restaurants participating in this year’s event will be offering special prix fixe or other discounted lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings. To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.

For the third consecutive year, Fairfield Magazine and its publisher TownVibe will officially kick off Fairfield Restaurant Week with the food lover’s party of the year—Taste of Fairfield—on Sunday, Oct. 7. The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Delamar Southport. The Taste of Fairfield event will feature “tastes and sips” from 30 restaurants and specialty markets, Josh Cellar and Layer Cake wines, and craft beer from the Fairfield area along with live music from local favorite Ellis Island, featuring hits from the 80s, 90s and beyond. A special kids' zone with a bounce house and cookie decorating will also be at the event.

“Fairfield is pleased to hold this special week-long event, now in its seventh year, to celebrate Fairfield’s many quality restaurants,” Tetreau said in a press release. “Restaurant Week gives the public an opportunity to frequent local favorites or sample new ones. This week-long event is another way the Town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy and provide people with an enjoyable experience. We encourage residents and visitors alike to join us in this special town event.”
