‘Scared’ Dog Was Probably Abandoned: Fairfield Animal Control
The animal control believes a lost dog that was recently picked up was most likely abandoned at Lake Mohegan.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control believes a “scared” pit bull mix that was picked up on Godfrey Road last Sunday was probably abandoned at Lake Mohegan the previous week. The animal control said in a post on Facebook that the dog was probably abandoned because he had “been running scared and would not leave the lake area.”
