Serious Injury, Road Closed After Fairfield Crash: Police
The road had reopened by 9 p.m., according to Fairfield police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A crash Wednesday in Fairfield resulted in a serious injury and a closed road, according to police.
Fairfield Woods Road was closed between Melville Avenue and Stratfield Road while law enforcement investigated the scene, Fairfield police said in a Facebook post timestamped about 7 p.m.
Police commented on the post just before 9 p.m. to say that the road had opened and the cause of the incident remained under investigation.
