With Snowy Forecast, Fairfield Schools Announce Early Dismissal

Fairfield students will head home around lunchtime, as several inches of snow are expected Thursday in town.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield public and parochial schools will dismiss early on Thursday, according to the school district website.

With several inches of snow in the forecast, high schools will dismiss 11 a.m., middle schools be out at noon and elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m., except for Holland Hill Elementary School, which will be out at 12:05 p.m.

Morning prekindergarten will dismiss 11:45 a.m. and there will be no afternoon prekindergarten. Walter Fitzgerald Campus will be out at 12:25 p.m.

There will be no instruction after dismissal. Afternoon preschool and all other afternoon activities are canceled.
