FAIRFIELD, CT — October is shaping up to be a big month for "foodies" in Fairfield. The third annual food-lover's party of the year — Taste of Fairfield — will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the outdoor tented patio area of Southport’s Delamar Hotel. Taste of Fairfield, which is organized by Fairfield Magazine — part of multi-magazine media company TownVibe, helps kick off Fairfield's Seventh Annual Restaurant Week, which begins Oct. 8.
“Foodies and other fun-loving folk can enjoy tastes and sips from more than two dozen restaurants and specialty markets from the Fairfield area, all in the spacious courtyard of the Delamar and Artisan Restaurant,” according to a press release announcing the Taste of Fairfield event. “In addition to fine cuisine, craft cocktails, Josh Cellar and Layer Cake wines, craft beer, microbrews, and sweets, there will be live music from hot local rock band Ellis Island along with hip pop-up shops, like the Two Oh Three, Mack and Ro/Saltwater, The Secret Ingredient Girls, Wooster Street Meats, and hipV vintage jewelry.”
TownVibe publisher Geoffrey Morris said, “Good things happen when people connect over good food.” Read more from the press release below:
