Thursday A Snow Day In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — School is canceled Thursday for Fairfield students, police announced Wednesday as snow began to fall in town.

All public and parochial schools in Fairfield — including the Remote Learning Academy — will be closed Thursday, police said in a Facebook post. There will be no distance learning.

Fairfield County is expected to get at least a foot of snow overnight Wednesday into Thursday, with the possibility for minor coastal flooding, wind gusts and outages, First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said Wednesday in an email to residents.
